One Website, Two Worlds—and the Doors Are Open
Every good journey needs somewhere to begin.
Sometimes it begins beneath a sky crowded with unfamiliar stars, where distant planets wait and the future is only one brave decision away. Sometimes it begins on a fern-lined path, beneath ancient trees, where magic lingers at the edge of sight and the ordinary world is not quite as ordinary as it appears.
Now both kinds of journeys have a new place to be discovered.
We are delighted to introduce starsandferns.com—a welcoming new website created to bring two distinct author worlds together in one easy-to-explore home.
Although they share a website, the science-fiction and fantasy sides remain separate. Each has its own identity, voice, books, readers and direction. The purpose of the new site is not to blur those lines, but to give both worlds equal space while making it much easier for readers to find everything in one place.
If you come for science fiction, you can follow stories beyond Earth, explore imagined futures and discover what happens when familiar human ideas are carried into unfamiliar worlds.
If fantasy is where your heart feels most at home, you can step towards stranger paths, old mysteries, legendary beings and landscapes where wonder may be waiting just beyond the trees.
And if you enjoy both? You are especially welcome. There is nothing to stop a traveller arriving by starship and leaving by a forest track.
The website offers a central place to discover the books, learn more about current and forthcoming projects, visit the separate blogs and social pages, and get in touch. New visitors can quickly find the stories that suit them, while longtime readers can see what is happening across both author worlds without having to hunt through the wilds of the internet with a compass, a distress beacon and several days’ provisions.
More importantly, starsandferns.com is intended to be more than a row of book covers. It is a living home for stories—published books, works in progress, ideas still finding their shape and the occasional glimpse behind the curtain at how imaginary worlds are built.
The site will continue to grow. New books will arrive. Current projects will move closer to publication. Fresh articles, updates and discoveries will be added along the way. Like every worthwhile world, it is not meant to remain frozen in place.
To everyone who has read a book, followed a blog, enjoyed an image, shared a post, left a comment or quietly encouraged these stories from the sidelines: thank you. Readers are the reason imagined worlds travel beyond the page. Without you, even the grandest spaceship stays in its hangar and the most mysterious path disappears beneath the leaves.
So please come and explore. Choose the doorway that feels most like home—or open both.
The doors are waiting at starsandferns.com.
